First Blog Post đ©đ°

Welcome & Short Intro
Hey there! Today Iâll try to briefly summarize my story (skipping the unnecessary details), tell you where the idea for this blog came from, and what you can expect here. If youâve already glanced at the menu tabs, youâve had a little sneak peek.
Why start a blog?
Honestly? If someone asked me point-blank, Iâd probably say: âI donât know.â Only after a moment would I come up with something smarter đ . And really⊠itâs no different here.
But to be completely honest: I wanted to create a spaceâmy own four wallsâwhere I can show what life and studies look like at one of the top European technical universities, in a country generally perceived as having the âbest quality of life.â
Besides, the world is rushing forward like crazy, and people who want to follow a similar pathâespecially international studentsâcould use another source of up-to-date, real, and practical information. In short: I want this place to be helpful, honest, and grounded in realityâespecially for student expats potentially heading to Danish universities.
What will this blog be about?
As an enthusiast of everything military-related, I couldnât resist the option of organizing all articles into proper categoriesâŠ
Okay, jokes asideâbecause if someone sees this without context, they might think Iâm some kind of Military Policeman. And I definitely donât want it to look like that! Although⊠flexibility is my strong suit, so if thereâs ever a need to politely and smilingly guide someone back on the right trackâI wonât say no đ.
Back to the point:
đ Studies in Denmark
Here Iâll be posting:
- practical tips on recruitment,
- handling formalities,
- how local bureaucracy works (spoiler: for an EU citizenâsurprisingly well),
- and what the daily life of a student looks like from the perspective of someone living here a bit longer.
đ» Tech & Projects
Sort of my portfolioâprojects that gave me the most fun, things I build after hours, and a bit more info on technologies that actually fall within my area of interest. (Sounds like a nerd description⊠well, okay, who am I trying to fool? đ€)
From time to time, there will also be reports and photos from tech events related to my field.
âïž On The Go
The truth is, every engineer needs a getaway (at least once in a while). So, finally, there will be a mix of what I do after hours so I donât end up with back pain in 10 years. In general, you can expect:
- short reports from city breaks,
- spots to recommend in Copenhagen,
- minor and major cultural differences,
- and everything that simply helps to catch a breath after classes.
Wrapping up
I didnât expect the first post to turn out this long đ I hope no one fell asleep reading it.
In the next posts, concrete tips will appear regarding:
- what the university application process looks like,
- how to sort out your stay (both in terms of documents and finding your own corner),
- what actually distinguishes the Danish education system,
- and later, of course, many other aspects related to these topics.
See you soon! In the meantimeâperfect reading for dark, winter evenings. âïžđ
